This is a very quaint neighborhood, filled with lots of restaurants, bars, entertainment, galleries, tattoo parlors, stores, etc. You can basically find anything for any type of person. But it is overpriced. The hype over the area hasn't dwindled, which makes everything more expensive than in surrounding areas.

Tree lined streets with lots of restaurants and cafes. This is the neighborhood we stayed in and we loved it. Here you leave the hustle bustle of a big city and feel like you're in a quaint area. If I lived in Mexico City, this is the neighborhood I liked best.

Although we stayed in Polanco, we really loved the Condesa neighborhood and would probably try to stay here during our next visit. It seemed a bit younger, with interesting things going on all night. We walked around at night here and it seemed very safe, too.

We stayed in a small hotel in La Condesa. Very safe, beautiful streets and little restaurants with easy access to transportation and high walkability score.

My guide book had a Roma and Condesa walk in it. What a delight! It started at Obregon, took in Roma Norte and wound up in Condesa. There was a real mix of stunning architecture, particularly around the beautiful Parque Mexico. A real pleasure.

A for sure neighborhood to visit and stay in. Don't miss the beautiful architecture of the area, the press, eateries, shops and general ambience - love it and will return.

We stayed in La Condesa. It's a residential neighborhood. Not much to see but very safe to walk through. Convenient metro (subway) stops and bus stops.
