My wife and I spent a good day at the anthropolgy museum. It is an amazing collection of Indian history and should be on list if visiting Mexico. It is very well set out and even for a non Spanish speaker is packed with interest. Well worth the trip- 6 pesos on the bus.

This was an amazing experience. A great place not to be missed if visiting Mexico City. It contains a vast amount of artifacts from ancient Mexico. Great outdoor display of pre-existing building well incorporated within the museum perimeter.

The museum is very well organized and with so much information. It is worth it to book a guided tour, it is free, but it must be done online before hand. We didn't, and there was no available tours when we tried to book a same day one.

Terrific museum, with unbelievable objects. It is a beautiful building, with halls for the different regions. We have spent days and days there over the years, and there is always something new to our eyes.....Way too much to absorb in one day, but no matter, it's all good. Nice restaurant where you can take a break with a piña colada... More

With only an hour or two to spare, we were determined to learn some history of this amazing county. This museum does that and more. Our favorite exhibitions were the Maya, Mexica and Teotihuacán, all easily accessible from the huge outdoor courtyard with the massive fountain. We did a quick pass through the anthropological section where a surprising amount of... More

Outstanding, beautiful, and highly informative museum. The exhibits are eye opening, awe inspiring, and a top priority for a visit to Mexico City. This museum helps one understand the diverse and fascinating history of Central and Latin America and its peoples. Located in the up and coming Polanco neighbourhood. We spent an entire day at this museum. There is a... More

Gardens, tall ceilings, and a spectacular fountain make this complex stunning. And to boot, there are incredible exhibitions spanning the history of the Central American peninsula
