I arrived about 7:30 pm, because I heard a lot about the Bar Tenampa, that is one of the historical Mexico's Cantina. I was directly to the Cantina and I found table available. The staff very friendly and I asked for tequila. The place it's...More

Plaza Garibaldi is located in a Mexico City downtown just a few blocks from Palacio de las Bellas Artes. The reality is that the Plaza is nothing special, actually, in my opinion is an ugly place, however, it is a meeting place for Mariachis groups,...More

Every night you can go to Plaza Garibaldi and find mariachi bands that will play for you for a small fee. There are restaurants and bars if you feel like staying longer, at the end of the square there is a huge market hall serving food.

This is a unique place. There are Mariachi musicians everywhere - but like others have stated, most are not playing. I thought it was cool to see everyone dressed up in traditional Mariachi suits and it totally reminded me of the movie ¡Three Amigos!. I'm...More

Garibaldi is well known as the place of the mariachi. It is colorful and you can see different kind of tequilas and mezcales. I hardly recommend you to go in a tour or in a big group with friends. Use uber or taxi to to...More
