We loved walking through the courtyard to view the murals and appreciate the painstaking details they took to restore this building. Gorgeous.

The collection of murals is a wonderful contrast to the endless Diego Rivera murals elsewhere in Mexico City. In particular, the murals of Orozco have a very different flavor. More cynical, less idealistic. So glad we went.

I had been looking forward to visiting since before I arrived and I wasn't disappointed. Close to Zocalo and only 25 pesos for entrance. The cortiles are magical and you forget you're in the center of the city!

Diego Rivera started there but you’ll see more murals by Orozco than anyone else. Powerful, emotional, historical. Worth a visit and it’s so close to so many other places around the Zocalo.

Volunteers lead tours several times a day. The tours are free and guides won't accept money. My very informative tour was all in Spanish, but the guide spoke slowly enough that I caught most of what she said. The tour was an hour and a...More

As part of our Zocalo tour, I made this our third stop of the day after the National Palacio to get another opportunity to enjoy legacy Mexican murals. Certainly worth the small admission fee. The place was empty
