Nice art museum experience with a fine collection inside a beautiful building. More art than the Palacio of Bellas Artes and pleasant place to wander around and enjoy the unique setting.Would recommend to anyone interested in fine art museums.

It a magnificent building full of beautiful pieces of art from different dates. If possible, wait for a guide to take you in tour over the museum. My favorite artist there is Jose Maria Velasco with paintings of ancient Mexico city.

Sorry to say I did not see any of her paintings while at the Art Museums in Mexico City, DF. This painter seems to have exhibits in different parts of the world and her paintings can be bought at art sales.
