Wonderful museum in the heart of the Centro Historico. One of its major features is a stunning staircase. Start from the top with its dark paneled rooms giving it a distinct historic feel and make yourway tothe lower floors to the more recent modernist art.

I have never been to Europe to see the art museums there but I would be willing to be this would impress any die hard art lover. At 60 pesos it is a world class gem.

Don't be surprised if there is more than you have time to see in one trip. The permanent collections are vast, and when you add the temporary ones it would be easy to spend the day here.

Sorry to say I did not see any of her paintings while at the Art Museums in Mexico City, DF. This painter seems to have exhibits in different parts of the world and her paintings can be bought at art sales.
