Some people like going to fancy districts. I am glad I saw it, but I did not go to any restaurants because I assumed they were more expensive than I would like. I did notice there is an Oscar Wilde avenue.

Great for shopping, dining, or just strolling through. Lovely neighborhood, with great night life, and very safe.

Polanco is a modern zone, with international hotels (Marriott, Hyatt Regency, Intercontinental, etc), elegant galleries and nice restaurants. A pleasant safe area to stroll around and perhaps pick up a Starbucks.

This time we have been in the JW Marriott in the Polanco area. Polanco doesn't reflect the reality of CDMX. It is extremely clean and has wonderful green parks. This is the only part of this great city I walk quietly in the night back...More

You might think you are in the US based on the stores and brands on the street, but there are local restaurants and bars that let you know you are in Mexico. Avenue Horacio is a good starting point.

Great place to stay, safe, lots of things near by, you can walk outside with no problem. You can tell who belongs there and who doesnt. As sad as that sounds generally those who live in Polanco keep to themselves and are well off. They...More

Poshness defines Polanco, this wealthy neighborhood
retains elegance unmatched elsewhere in Distrito
Federal. Brunch in the Polanquito area, then keep up
with the latest fashion trends in luxury boutiques
around every corner. Top it off with beautiful cafés
and restaurants that surround Lincoln Park, a treat to
the senses thanks to the art decó architecture and
high quality gourmet cuisine found here.

Here are some of favorites based on decor and food. La Unica & J by Jose Andres. Really you can't go wrong with the restaurants in polanco since they all have their own unique style and flavor.

Google maps will guide your journey. If walking is possible for you, enjoy the view. With bags, take a Uber. Very cheap and great availability in CDMX.

I would say it is safe, definitely one of the most upscale areas of Mexico City with high end shopping and restaurants. I do not know anything about the dental services there.
