Polanco is huge. This is the only place we found much shopping in Mexico City. And honestly there weren't many artisan type shops to be found. The Common store was pretty cool. We stumbled upon one arcade we walked through with....a Starbucks and some cute little shops.

We stayed in this neighborhood and really enjoyed it. There are a lot of high-end shops and good restaurants, plus it is very close to many of the points of interest. Seemed very safe, too. We loved watching the dog walkers with a dozen dogs each. With that said, for the younger crowd, I might recommend the Condesa neighborhood. We... More

If you stay in Polanco, you don't need a car. You can walk to the park, market, stores, restaurants.

Although it is nice I believe it only reflects the wealth and upper class of the city. Nice to ride through but other areas much more interesting.

Hi end foodie restaurants are in this area as are expensive apartments. Very safe. Easy to get to by metro or Uber. Traffic is horrendous. So metro is probably better and easier.

El Palacio de Hierro is WORLD CLASS! The store is set up by designer boutiques. It's a fashionista's dream store! Many of the designers are from Spain, Italy & Mexico. Their products are truly unique. However, my favorite part of the store is the Food Hall! You'll want to go hungry!

Its not a special place on the city but some streets are cute. Mazarik avenue is nice to walk. This street seems european streets in france or italy. Boutiques and banks along the way. In Polanco are the biggest and the most expensive hotels, shops & restaurants.

Great shops, fantastic restaurants and bars. A trip to Mexico City wouldn't be the same without a visit here.

Really nice, high-end neighborhood. Attractions include Polanquito (a little downtown area with restaurants, bars, and shops), a really fancy Starbucks, and a huge shopping mall. If you have a short period of time in CDMX, you could skip Polanco, but if you're looking for a new area to explore, check it out!

This upscale neighbourhood is quite a contrast from other parts of the city. Reminiscent of Beverly Hills with lots of shopping the restaurants to choose from.
