This is an interesting experience and a pleasant boat trip. There are many vendors who will try to sell you something which can be slightly annoying. The canal is quite pretty. A pleasant experience.

Quintessential tourist attraction. We loved this. 2 hours was a perfect length of time. We had tasty food make next to us in boat. We went on a week day so the crowds were tolerable. I can't wait to go back.

Yes. They might ask you for a additional fee. My recommendation is to go on a slow day. (Mon to thursday)
