I went there multiple times for different things, and every time I loved it despite the multitude of people that visit the place. It's grat for picnic, visiting museums and even for a boat ride on the lake. It's full of little stands with sweets,...More

Enjoyed this beautiful park. The lungs of MDMX. It has a zoo, a water pond with boats, a castle and home to a museum. What else to ask for in this amazing city. Beautifully kept and loved.

Lots of families come here to enjoy one of the few free open spaces in the city. Good treats available from vendors. Few beggars.

This beautiful park has several lakes, a boat house and different boat activities. The different trees planted there are very mature. There are kids playgrounds around and the park has different entrances. It also houses a botanical garden.

A pleasure to walk around and to hang out in, with tree lined avenues, grassy areas, botanical gardens, pleasure lakes, museums and zoological gardens. A never ending pageant of Mexico City life!

Chapultepec Park/Bosque de Chapultepec was one of my favourite parts of Mexico City. I chose my hotel for proximity to the park and the metro, as well as attractions. Due to the proximity, I spent most afternoons walking around the park when I had spare...More

This park is gorgeous and reminds me so much of Central Park in NYC. It has little boats, castle, monuments, lots of vendors selling. It has art around it! Great place to wander and get your daily steps in.

This is THE place to be on Sundays, as it is jammed packed full of vendors and families, and rivals Disneyland as the "happiest place on earth". There were few turistas roaming about, so you get to mingle with the locals. There must be hundreds...More

Worth a walk through this large park. Paddle boats, Botanical gardens, loads of food, sweet stalls, toys. Full of families enjoying themselves. We walked from the art gallery all the way down to Alameda central.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
We're planning to go here on a Sunday but it looks like rain. Will it be as active even if it is going to rain? The other option would be to go on a weekday, but I heard sundays are best

It's very active despite not so good weather and there are a number of activities that you can do indoors should it rain hard. The museum of anthropology is a good place to start
We will be in Mexico City on a layover early next year. We've been to Chapultepec Park for just a visit to the Museum Of Anthropology many years ago. But we always wanted to get more of the park experience. We land in MEX on a Monday afternoon when things are closed, but we could still walk around and enjoy the park. We were thinking of staying at The Grand Fiesta Americana near the park and spending all day Tuesday seeing another museum or maybe two and taking a walk around a little of the park and flying out Wednesday. Is one full day enough time to get some of the park and one or two sites in? Thanks!

I think one full day will be plenty ! Different days of the week will probably have a different atmosphere - Sundays more lively than other days perhaps !
