This forest is pretty from Afar, but it's definitely not a place for tourists. Difficult to access, and Underwhelming when you arrive at your destination. The Rio Caliente was a hot river, but the road to get there will destroy the average car. And once...More

It is a pretty national park with hot springs, a hot lake and mountains. Good place to hike. Bring food and water there's no place to buy it. Lots of Mexicans come to picnic and swim.

Went hiking in the trails and soaking my feet in the hot river. It was a nice escape from the hustle bustle of the city. It's worth a half/full day trip for anyone who has the time. Weekends can get really crowded though, especially in...More

We loved this day trip from Guad. The forest is beautiful and the hot spring river is amazing. Yes, it's rustic but that is what I like about it. I hope we can return. Our kids loved it and I did too!
