I think there is some confusion from the other reviewers. This listing says Nueve Esquinas (Las). It does not say Birrieria las 9 Esquinas. I believe this listing to be about the 9 corners area which is very nice. It is not about just the...More

There are many dishes on the menu but there is only 1 birria de chivo (MXN119 March 2017). I ordered that and it came out really fast with plenty of tortillas on the side. However, the amount of goat meat wasn't much. I finished the...More

There's about everything around the area-but the best time to visit is for breakfast. Most of the time there are some colorful fruit (that are very sweet) call Pitayas. Try them. They are delicious. They grow on the nopal.

Worth walking to if you have time. Birria restaurants all around the plaza. Mariachi musicians most of the afternoon and evening. A taste of old and current Tapatio lifestyle. Fun place to take photos.

Here they can enjoy a good plate of Birria, which is a typical dish of Jalisco. The flavor of this place is unique. Also if you prefer you can enjoy a good "mole verde" or "cochinita pibil".

Prices were affordable and food was tasty. We came across the "Las nueve esquinas" restaurant and decided to get in and try the food. It was tasty for sure and good value for the price you pay. We had birria, brased lamb, and freshly squeezed...More

This is some of the best birria (Jalisco's traditional goat stew) that I've ever had, and I go back often for both the food and the authentic atmosphere. It's easily walkable from the Centro Historico. There's a big late lunch business crowd here, so go...More
