It didn't wow me. Perhaps when it was built its capacity was impressive. I would not bother to revisit except for a performance.

When visiting Guadalajara - take the opportunity to spend an evening enjoying the Ballet Folklorico - you won't be disappointed...it's a memory you will want to recall often.

This is a very nice building, a classic theatre. The architecture is very beautiful and the inside is very classy. Well worth to visit.

It's a great piece of history. The theater was made in the middle of XIX century. And it's pretty alive now, they have dance and musical performances. You can go inside even if there's no show to display just to enjoy the great interior

I was able to go into the theater when there was no perfomance. The mural is painted in the dome of the theater. Beautiful and very impressive looking from the outside.

Bring your camera, the interior is grand. Acoustics are excellent in all seating. Parking is near. Staff is helpful.

City center of Guadalajara. Excellent opportunity to see differents aspects of Guadalajara citizens. Plenty of people celebrating something. Workers Union asking to Governement. 15 years old young girls celebrating their anniversary. Group of asian visitors.

yes. you can enter unescorted or with a tour if you're on one. we hired a private guide for 4 hours to walk us around the old city and give us the history.

The Festival is held the first 10 days of September. Events all over the City, but the most significant are in Centro area. An excellent hotel within walking distance is Hotel Morales.
