I loved this stop because the murals in the main space are huge, dark, thought provoking and reflective of the unique style. Do not be surprised if you see photographers lying on the floor to get a better shot of "Promethus in Flames"

I have visited museums all over Europe, England and the US. Instituto Cultural Cavanas is at the same level of any World class museum. It holds wonderful art and the architecture of the building is stunning.

Just viewing the Orozco mural is worth the price of admission. And, there is so much more to see. The architecture of the building and other exhibitions are wonderful.

GO AGAIN? Yes. I recommend having an art guide to explain the murals. Interesting building, courtyards, and art. Plus, we had a conference banquet in one of the courtyards, with a Mariachi Band and Ballet Folklorico
