Not so big church and really nice inside. Just in the center of Cuernavaca and a must if you visit the city.

Beautiful church in the heart of Cuernavaca´s downtown. This parish is quite crowded all the time and of course Sunday mass creates a traffic chaos.
Show up at least 20 minutes early to make sure you leave your party at doorstep so you can find a decent parking near by.

We had a little extra time in Cuernavaca and saw a picture of this church. It is on a busy street, with a large shrine dedicated to the Guadelupe out front. The church was OK and we were happy to spend a few moments there, but it is not a must do site.

This is not a chapel but rather it was where Cuernavaca ended and people stopped for a blessing from the Virgin of Guadalupe before taking the road to Mexico City. Now we feel like it is almost in downtown Cuernavaca! On December 12, the feast day is delebrated and there are special masses, as well as traditional dancers, food stands, and fireworks.
Groups take floral wreaths to deposit in her honor. It is a special landmark in Cuernavaca.

Also known as the "Templo de San José el Calvario", this church is located in the center of Cuernavaca. The exterior is lovely and churchy. Unfortunately, I don't know what it's like inside because it was closed when I visited. Sad kitten.
