My children recently attended a two week long day camp at this park and it was well run, educational and a lot of fun. The program has been running for years every summer, it is free to attend though you must bring art supplies. The...More

The address given on TripAdvisor Matamoros 14 is wrong. I know because I just wasted 40 minutes in uber in a vain attempt to find it. There's nothing approaching a Botanical Garden at that address. Everyone the driver asked looked at us as if we...More

While this is not a large garden, it does have a good selection of many of the tropical plants of this area. You can see adult specimens of several trees and palms. Certainly worth a visit.

I would have given this site a five except that many garden plots were empty. I felt that I could have learned more about the buildings and effectiveness of the medicines as well as how to make them from the plants.

We went with friends and spent a few hours wandering around, looking at the variety of plants and just enjoying the huge grounds. There were so many plants to admire and some ideas to try in our gardens when we get home. We were almost...More

This garden was recommended to us by the policeman who told us that the Borda Garden was closed for construction. It was peaceful and had some interesting plants. I suppose for Cuernavaca it is a pretty good arboretum. On the grounds is the small house...More

This is a a botanical bonus for those interested in alternative healing practices based on traditional herbal/plant uses practiced by ancient and modern-day Mexicans. The gardens are extensive, the museum is informative and the setting is the former house of Emperor Maxmilian of Hapsburg's mistress,...More
