A tour guide recommended the Brady villa as an excellent art museum and he was correct. This villa or as Brady called it - Casa de la Torre - was Brady's home while he lived in Cuernavaca. Brady died in the 1980s and (I think) he is buried in the back yard of the villa. The 10 room home is... More

I don't know why this Museum doesn't have more/better P.R. It is such an amazing place. A beautiful house with an amazing art collection. This should be the first stop on any visit to Cuernavaca. Robert Brady created an amazing home and you get to see all of it: the living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens - it's like a window... More

I love this place. It's Robert Brady's home and it is filled with treasures from all over the world. It is impossible to describe, but it must contain several million dollars worth of artifacts. Most museums are boring to me. This one is not!

If you are looking for interesting things to do in Cuernavaca's downtown be sure to include the Robert Brady Museum. It is a fascinating collection of art, sculptures, and antiques all set in a most architectural setting. You spend hours there, or just a few minutes depending on your schedule.

If you like art and handicrafts, this is one of the most diverse collections you can find. Mexico, Latin America, Africa, Asia, etc. All in a fine old house in Cuernavaca. A superb job in conservation of the site. Your eyes pop.... Great job....

Liked it all and recommend it to everyone. If you have children, be sure they respect the displays and keep their hands off. You are walking up close to very available objects and paintings, including Frieda Kahlo.

It was wonderful, don't miss this museum. I liked that the write ups about the art were in both Spanish and English.
