The statue is old and slowly getting damaged, but it’s still a cool quick activity to do while in Playa las Gatas. The best part is the coral and the amount of colorful fish swimming around. You can have a local guide you to it...More

We rented snorkel gear on the beach for 300$N and set out to find the King of Kings. It was easy to locate because of the floats on top of the water. The rope helps with descending. There are lots of fish and sea urchins...More

Playa Las Gatas is a true Mexican experience. Your can only get there by walking a rocky path or taking the water taxi from town. The snorkleing is wonderful

You should be a good swimmer as this is rather a long swim from the beach or pier. The clear water makes it visable and it is a very nice photo op.

The Jesus statue beneath the water is excellent snorkeling. Little fish surround you and once out of the water a cool beer is literally steps away.

This was fun but water is cloudy so hard to see. Statue is BIG! It was very easy to get to and only about three feet down.
