All members of our group enjoyed walking through the fish market and shops. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we went back. Don't miss the various statues around the fish market and town of Zihuatanejo. The ground was flat which was key for the...More

Basically it’s a boardwalk that connects the pier, to the Canal, which is right next to the water.. In the morning, people come down to buy fresh fish, right off the fishing boats. Always lots activity, with restaurants to have your coffee/breakfast at. Lots of...More

Pretty cool place to walk around and do some shopping. You will find some "authentic" Mexico here, but mostly it is just tourist stuff. Remember to haggle when buying stuff, it's party of the game.

The place has a lot of souvenir shops and traditional art crafts. The restaurants vary in quality and cleanliness.

Shady coco palms, gentle breeze, lapping waves and soft-sell vendors highlight this strolling walkway. Nice little restaurants and bars and shops along the way. This is also the location of the original, as well as current fish market, where small operators bring their catch early...More

We had a day trip to Zihuatanejo from Ixtapa. Nice lunch and swim at the beach. Great food at Coc Loco. Worth the ride from Ixtapa. Fun to haggle over prices. Excellent place to get souvenirs.
