Playa Larga is a great place to visit to whale watch. It’s miles of almost deserted beach is a sight to behold There are a couple of great hotels with pools where you can get a good meal, have a swim and just relax

If the crowds in Zihua are too much some day take a short taxi ride out to Playa Larga. For walking and watching the surf it can seem like you have the place to yourself. Treacherous riptides and huge shore breakers should keep even the...More

we were staying in Barra de Potosi and decided to visit the other side of the beach. It was a lovely day at the most beautiful beach, but I still love our Barra de Potosi side better !

One of the nicest cleanest beaches south of the city. Great little place to relax, a few good restaurants for lunch and hanging out. YOu can rent horse rides for a small fee. Not very crowded even on weekends.

My wife and I highly recommend Rancho el Riscal. The guides are extremely attentive to the individual needs and riding abilities of each member of the group. The gallops and walks (speeds dependent on skills of the riders) on a deserted, crashing-wave beach and a...More

I'm almost afraid to put a review out on this, for fear it will be ruined. This has to be the most impressive beach I've ever been to. Wide, long, clean, quiet, mostly undeveloped, it's truly awesome. Commonly called Playa Larga, this is actually three...More

Our visit to Rancho El Riscal was with the Club Med horseback riding excursion. The ranch is located just south of Zihuatanejo - about a half hour taxi ride. The cost of the taxi was 700 pesos round trip and the driver waited for the...More

I'm so sorry I don't have a direct telephone number for this horseback ride. My spouse booked it through air Canada vacation host at our hotel.
