Lucy's CuCu Cabana is a unique shop specializing in hand-picked, high-quality, authentic Mexican folk-art. Lucy and Gil travel all over Mexico for several months every year searching for original pieces. All of their merchandise is purchased directly from the artisans at fair prices. They have been in business for twenty years. Lucy's will be closed from May 1 to October 20 while the owners go on their annual shopping trip.

Lucy's is along the main road of Basilio Badillo. She is a wonderful character with generous knowledge of the nearby sites and restaurants. AND the shop has unique, high quality Mexican artifacts. Prices seem reasonable too.

Tiny shop with very carefully selected Mexican craft pieces. Lucy & Gil & their staff are terrific at helping pack & ship wonderful art pieces. Save yourself long hunts for take-home pieces.

I bought a cat carving. Beautiful colors and workmanship. Had a great conversation with the woman at the desk. They wrapped my purchase very well for the plane ride home.

Lucy's Cucu Cabaña just reopened in the same location it's been in for twenty-two years after extensive remodeling. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused anyone, but we are always trying to make it better.
