Dropped by Stan's shop after a local recommendation. He's a very nice guy and it's obvious he isn't just another guy booking boats. Fishing is always an iffy proposition, but he said the fishing was good. We went for 6 hours on Magnifico with Alonso....More

Double Sailfish hookup! I have fished with MB's for 4 years running. Stan has always given me the straight dope about what was biting and what wasn't so I could pick the right trip. I always ask for Captain Hector who knows these waters inside...More

My wife was hesitant to go, thinking that we would be put there for hours before we got even one bite. I was able to convince her to go. We left the marina at 830, the previous few days they had people in the fish...More

We had a short fishing trip scheduled in the bay during our cruise stop. The crew met us at the Marina and we were going with wet lines in mere minutes. A couple of Jack Crevalles were landed and our trip was deemed a success....More

I was recommended by several others to go with Master Baiter's and like many others very impressed by Stan. However the fishing trip itself was not worth it. I had specifically mentioned that I wasnt interested in just heading out to the marieta islands and...More

Prior to ever stepping foot in Stan's shop, he was very up front on what my choices were on fishing early this March. Transitional fishing season was still on, and if I wanted my best odds at catching fish it was to target Jack Crevelle....More

This was a 6 hour trip with myself (age 81), and my son and daughter-in-law. Captain and first mate were very helpful as we had ample opportunity to reel in big fish. Everyone was successful several times. Unfortunately fishing had not been really good due...More

Stan had warned us ahead that at this time of year it would be best to fish for Jack Crevalls. The cooler water had the other fish not biting well. Arrival and timong to start went well. The captain spoke excellant english. The tackle was...More

We asked specifically about live bait and fish finders on board before we signed up and got none of it. Hard to catch anything other than 5 small mackerel's without them on trip out to marietas island and back with just lures. Finally caught one...More

Surprising, Every boat gets live bait, every single boat. Even when clients leave the dock long after the bait boat has left, we put bait on the boat and keep the pumps running to keep it alive. No Bait, never heard of this from anyone.......More

To begin with, you will never find Sailfish and Marlin in the bay which is what a six hour trip is. Dorado are iffy this year and it was late before they came in. The reason the captain was surprised these people wanted to fish...More

Is there a need to use a wire trace attached to a lure/popper when fishing from the beach? This is standard practice in the UK when fishing for Pike and I wondered if this would be good practice too for native sea species off the coast of PV.
