We were on a cruise ship & took a detour here to visit the church & old town north city center. It was worth the taxi fare. We prayed in the church & walked around the perimeter.

There is a parade that goes from the Cathedral with children. Very fun to watch. It's a beautiful place to visit, and the view from restaurants in old PV on the hill is lovely.

It's old. It's a must place if you are a dedicated Catholic. It is revered. 96 years old and the architecture let alone the stained glass is simply unbelievable for when it was built. Just stepping through the door and into the cathedral makes one...More

The rosaries had sea shells and were so inexpensive, like $3 and up & the money went to an orphanage. Make sure you take one home even if you're not catholic. I'm sure you have a friend.

I do not know times but I'm sure that they are posted. I would go planning on hearing it in Spanish. It's a beautiful cathedral in the lovely heart of the city. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

From what I saw it was very Sunday church. No jeans or tshirts, ladies wore dresses and dress shoes, most men had suits some with just dress pants and shirts, no runners even on the kids. The little girls were dressed to the... More
