We stopped at dozens of statues or art pieces to enjoy a traffic free zone, check out the shops and bars and enjoy the ocean breeze. This is a must see in Old Vallarta

This boardwalk has a little of everything, food, shopping, and entertainment. Not to forget the view of the Banderas Bay.

Lots to do and see. Very cool street musicians and shopping. It was easy to take the bus there and back to our hotel.

There is a both a lot to see and do. Many of the restaurants turn into dance clubs at night. The area is very safe and the vistas go for miles and miles.

We visited over Mexican Independence Day weekend. When we went to the Malecon we were greeted with a huge parade with Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Military, local schools and many others.

Great area to walk and look at the many statues. The breeze coming off the water makes it a comfortable walk. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Excellent for a stroll, even if you don't walk all of it. Lots of restaurants, shops, bars, ice-cream places. I prefer to go in the afternoon, when the sun's down. Great sunsets.

We went on the city tour and this was one of the stops. We shopped. It was a little annoying everyone trying to sell you things while you looked around
