My hubby and I enjoyed our half day bike & hike trip. The trip really lets you spend time away from the tourism of the city and enjoy the nature of PV. This trip was challenging and we work out 5 times a week. I would not recommend if you don't exercise on a regular basis. Our guide was very... More

My wife and I made this hike at the end of January. The trail was in great condition and beautiful views of the Pacific. We had a chance to swim at Isolated beaches and experience some of the lush coastal forest. The guide set a comfortable pace and knew the locale very well. The hike ended at a small village... More

We paid a deposit for the beginner mountain bike ride a few days in advance and were very happy when the owner rescheduled it to another day after my wife got sick. Oscar, our guide, lead us through through several small quaint villages on our way to Salto waterfalls in the jungle, a refreshing destination, before we headed back. We... More

We did the El Salto Bike & Hike, which is a fun trip out of Puerto Vallarta in which you get to cycle through some 'real' Mexican villages, away from the tourist hub and then hike through some pleasant (if unspectacular) countryside, before reaching your main destination - a truly picturesque natural pool and waterfall where you get to indulge... Terrific morning. Brittany a friendly host, Oscar a great guide. If you haven't rode in awhile take the 'easy' tour. Perhaps a suggestion to bring a bathing suit and towel. At the midway point there is a beautiful stream with pool, restaurant. Bikes were perfect, hydraulic brakes, etc. Will do the ride again if in the neighbourhood. 900 pesos. Thanks... More

Had a great time. It's a challenging ride but the Salto waterfall is a nice reward. Rogelio is grizzled, feisty funny character and a cool guy. Brittany is charming and muy simpatica. Their dogs are simpatico as well.

From the moment I sent the first email this trip was assured to be first class. Brittany was very responsive on the emails and assured me that everything would be taken care of. Took my own pedals and upon arrival Brittany and Rogelio were very welcoming and had my pedals on a bike in no time. Rogelio made sure the... More

I road the El Salto 3000 with Regelio. Be ready to pedal. The trail is tight with roots, rocks and stairs. If you want a real mountain bike experience go on this trail. I recommend and will hit him up next time I am in PV.

I've done the San Pedro and El Salto rides with Eco Ride and both trips were fantastic! Brittany and Rogelio are awesome at organizing and maintaining the bikes, and Oscar is a great guide. If you'd like to check out the beautiful scenery of the Sierra Madres and break a sweat along the way, do a ride with Eco Ride!

We did the Vallejo ride on Monday. Rogelio was informative and very encouraging. We are experienced mountain bikers but we're a bit out of practice so this ride was perfect to get the lay of the land. Bringing our own pedals made it feel more comfortable using the well maintained Giant Trace type bikes. At the peak of our climb... More
