This tour is no longer available as of 4 years ago. It was disbanded due to the charitable organization moving out of the .vallarta area. We recommend the IFC Home Tours for charity as an alternative.

This was a highly informative and enjoyable tour led by entertaining volunteers with the money going to a worthy cause. This tour allowed persons to walk through a variety of luxury homes some of which were very expensive. Most had great ocean views and afforded visitors the opportunity most visiting Puerto Vallarta would not get. Be prepared for a significant... More

There ten our group and it was a delightful break from our being lazy louts. The five homes we visited were all lovely in their own way - each one quite different. The two fellows who led the tour were entertaining and knowledgeable. Well worth the time.

We heard about the home tour from a friend and we're so happy that we had a chance to see it. We toured 4 homes, all quite different, but beautiful in their own way. We also felt pleased the the fee charged was to help cleft pallet children in PV. We would highly recommend this trip if you enjoy architecture,... More

Nice that two great groups have combined resources!! We had seen one of the homes another year but it was still special a second time! It is so nice to listen to some of the home owners give some interesting facts about the house or their lives. Many of these properties have lots of stairs and uneven walkways into the... More

I have taken the home tour in Puerto Vallarta at least 6 times. I enjoy it and want to share it with my friends. Each time it is different, although there might be some repeat homes. The money goes for a good cause too.

I lived in Conchas Chinas for the winter and I had a delightful home tour trip in much of my neighbourhood. The hosts and hostesses of the tour were informative, humourous and fun to be with. The homes were amazing, with beautiful views and ambiance, many filled with exquisite art. The tour ended with a restaurant visit and free tortillas and... More

Clearly, there are many good and decent people even amongst the wealthy. I cannot imagine having a bus load of people traipse through my home looking at my personal things to raise money for charity. I think I would rather write a cheque, but I am certainly glad that there are people like that out there. I found it fascinating.... More

I found out about the Peace Home Tours by chance. We had wanted to do a tour of the local houses for our upcoming trip and so I searched online. When I read the description of the tour and that the proceeds go to providing meals for the poorest residents in Vallarta, I had to buy the tickets. As for... More

This is a terrific outing where all proceeds go toward PEACE's "food for work" program. Each fee produces 10 meals, if I recollect correctly. Wonderful homes and views, well organized, fun tour guides. Excellent outing which takes place each Tuesday where different homes are shown.
