This is a miles long, fine, white sand beach. And it can often be very quiet. There are a number of access points most of which are controlled by resorts but one developer (Nahui) does provide a parking lot and reasonable access. It's on the old La Cruz/Pta. Mita road about 8 km north of La Cruz. The sea can... More

Just up the road to Puenta Mita about KM 8 is a dirt parking lot with security and a short downhill walk to a clean, sandy, beautiful beach. They rent a table with four chairs for 150 pesos a day so you can bring your own food and beverages. Also there are wait staff from the resort that will bring... More

Beautiful beach nothing of Bucerias. Lovely restaurants in the area. Very reasonable prices. Many Local people use this beach.

Beautiful pacific ocean beach just outside Nuevo Vallarta. Beach vendors sell food and drinks out of pallapas. Bring your umbrella and chairs or go to the restaurant that has good lunch beach chairs and umbrellas as well as the only restrooms on the beach.

This beach is more secluded and is the best beach within Banderas Bay for body boarding. Good luck entering though; the nearby hotels have put up barbed wire around what used to be the public entrance, in an illegal attempt to privatize the beach.

We felt very lucky when we stopped by and it was not very busy. The beach was beautiful and had tables you could rent for about $10 for the day. This helped having an umbrella to cool off under the sun. Nice beach for boogie boarding and body surfing. Food was reasonable and they had vendors making drinks in pineapples... More
