Just a great place to relax and add to your tan while reading a book or your kindle, with restaurants nearby and beach venders and not a few cervezas , it doesn’t get much better.

This beach was fine, white sand & swimable when the green sign is up ... But it was more crowded than other beaches I went to while in PV.

Lots of great restaurants along the beach. The pier is a nice place to relax. There were many massage therapists on the beach.

Great beach family oriented area but also some party areas... Ocean is very changing from strong surf, my favorit for bodysurf to very mild surf just 100 meters away

Most Vallarta's beaches are at hotels os scattered public beaches, Los Muertos is a bit different. This local´s Sunday favorite is normally pretty full (Sunday's = Crowded) since you can find friends, hang out at many restaurant's / bar's palapas (umbrellas) so you can suntan,...More

Nice beach with a crowd Near by beach pubs and food. Sound of the ocean with margaritas and music make this beach amazing.

Although you can walk along the beach on the sand, this beach is very crowded and reminds me of Waikiki. Not my idea of a beach to relax and soak in the sun...but for many it obviously hit the mark

Playa de los Muertos, Beach of the Dead (apparently because of the dangerous undertow), was anything but that during our recent stay which encompassed that banquet of anything-but-dead bodies known as Beef Dip. For a week, our Blue Chairs were surrounded by all types of...More

This 2km long Beach is found along the Malecon, starting at Plaza Lazaro Cardenas to Pilitas Beach. There are lots of stories that attempt to explain the name. I like the version that tells us that this area was a cemetery for Indians. I found...More

This is a fairly easy walk to the beach or anywhere else in the Zona Romantica, but the trip back up the hill can be challenging, especially after a day at the beach. We found that it kept us in shape. There is a short... More

Hi Tim. Yes it is polluted. Wear shoes and socks while walking on sand. I would not ever swim in that area. For two reasons. February and March 2016 one person perished in rip tides daily. Often the person was only walking... More

I wouldn't think so. I know you can arrange a rooftop wedding at Los Cuatro Vientos Hotel up behind the cathedral on Matamoros at sunset. I have witnessed one and it was very beautiful. The hotel has a website where you... More
