We came down to Playa de los Muertos every day of our 6 day stay in PV. Never made it to the water though. It was the beginning of the Mexican holiday for Holy Week and Easter so it was extremely crowded. We did enjoy...More

We stayed a block away from this wonderful beach for one week and loved our time spent on the beach. The entirety of the beach is public with beachfront hotels and condos staking claims for chairs and umbrellas for their guests. The vendors that work...More

It was a nice at the beach, even though there wasn’t any place to stay or have a nice sun bed, a lot of people were all day around and round! The restaurants are pretty nice though! And, definitely a light atmosphere and some music...More

Playa los Muertos is a great beach. It is expansive and you can find whatever you want here. There are many places where it is super crowded, but there are also many places where it is not. There are places to lay down a blanket,...More

One of our favorite beaches. Typically busy and generally clean. This is a great place to catch some rays, ocean fun, a bite to eat or an ice cold beer all while lounging in heaven. It’s disappointing to see them charging for chairs at some...More

This beach is nice, but a little too crowded for me and the water in PV is COLD. There are bunches of nice restaurants within walking distance and good hotels to stay in.

Most popular beach in old town vallarta. Lots of great sea side restaurants for any price range. Most restaurants have chairs to rent for the day, just need to purchase food or beverage. We have noticed the beach has receded and the waves are stronger than...More
