We have spent many days at the beach here and have had great times swimming, body surfing, paddle boarding, para sailing, and my favourite Fly Boarding. This beach is usually a great place to swim but BEWARE sometimes the water is rough and you have to watch the water, waves, undertow- sometimes people die here. We still love this beach... More

We have been staying in this area every November for the past 15 years. We keep coming back because the beach days are great, the sunsets are beautiful, there are great restaurants and the people are friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for!

The beach area restaurant food was so good with so many restaurants to choose from on the beach or back one block on the street.

It is an average beach. There are so many vendors it is difficult to enjoy your day relaxing at all. Other than that, the scenery is amazing and the waves get pretty big.

Great selection of restaurants and beach clubs along Playa de lots Muertos. For the LGBT community the gay beach is located further along the beach. Be careful in the water and take notice of the flags as waves can be very strong.

Playa Los Muertos is a great beach centrally located on the south side of PV. Plenty of places to find loungers, get good food and cold drinks. Tons of vendors and plenty of people watching.

Great beach at the southern portion of Puerto Vallarta. A good stretch of it is sandy and right in front of resorts and restaurants. It tapers off into a rocky area further south. Good for laying out, swimming, and water activities. Downside is all the vendors hassling you.

This is a great beach at the end of the Malecon and a good place to rest and sit after a long walk. Plenty of restaurants for food and drink, along with interesting views.
