This is my absolute favorite beach in Vallarta. No, the sand is not white and soft. No, the ocean is not clear blue and gentle. However, the beach is lively, warm, and very inviting. There are vendors of all kinds wandering around selling their goods or talents. I enjoy interacting with these locals as they are kind hearted and friendly... More

this is the best and most lively entertaining beach in Puerto Vallarta. The malecon offers excellent people watching and is a safe way to walk the whole strip. There are plenty of restaurants lining the beach and on the beach itself. The pier with the sail is the focal point of the beach and is where you can catch a... More

There's hardly room on this beach anymore. Full of restaurant tables, trash and street/beach vendors. Lots of boats moored off the beach, so not too appealing to get in the water.

We vacationed in Puerto Vallarta and spent most of our time on the beach, the Playa de los Meurtos. Our favorite time of the day was watching the sunsets as did most other people on vacation. We also enjoyed our early morning walks in the sand, seeing the sights and relaxing in the sun!

We spent every night here watching the sun set. It was fun to see the locals out fishing right off the beach. The pelicans were every where. There were multiple places to eat right on the beach. Lots of Mexican culture. Would definitely go back.

This is truly THE beach in Puerto Vallarta. It is here where you see the Mexicans mingling with the foreigners and can enjoy a lovely day under a palapa. Just be ready to pretend to be asleep or being distracted when the vendors come by (unless you're interested of course). This is the beach where the beautiful people go -... More

It's polite of so many TripAdvisor Reviewers to skip over the fact that the section of Playa de los Muertos that includes Blue Chairs Resort, Ritmo's to the Mantamar Beach Club is the go to destination for gay men and friends from all over North America. Maybe not the first choice for anyone with some stereotypical, preconceived notions about sexuality.... More
