On a recent vacation, my boyfriend & I went on a cruise to Islas Marietas with Bahia Alegre. It was a wonderful trip that I would highly recommend. The cruise itself was fun, snorkeling was awesome (lots of fish and sea turtles) and the beach we visited was gorgeous! The crew was very welcoming, kept us safe and even rescued... More

Just the best. Our guide leader Jovani was out of sight! What can I say? Food was better than the competition, equipment equal or better, and smaller groups... (this will change as their rep grows). I am a USCG licensed Captain and I will tell you the safety was first rate the captain and crew were excellent mariners and the... More

My wife and I spent a wonderful day in mid-August (it was sunny!!) as we explored Las Islas Marietas. The crew went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the whole day. The main host was quite funny and personable. Snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, and swimming was fun too! Breakfast and lunch were decent. No complaints here. Would recommend.... More

This is full day event from 8am - 6pm. It departs from the central Maritima station and we did the following events: 1) snorkeling 2) kayaking 3) paddle board 4) beach visit ( since las marietas were closed) - The beach was exceptional as it had white sand and a nice coral area for additional snorkeling. Upon return we had... More

This is not a family friendly activity. The host was very invasive and I was shocked at the explicit jokes he would make with children on board. If it were advertised as an adult cruise it would have been a different story but it was not. Also be aware that they lead you to believe that you will have the... More

The Bahia Alegre outing to Los Marietas makes for a long day if you are traveling with kids... Pros: Staff was REALLY nice. They did their best to make us feel comfortable. Service was excellent. Plenty of drinks on the ride back. Cons: The boat ride out is 1 hour and 40 minutes. I've sailed a lot before and it... More

We considered cancelling our reservation when we learned the 'hidden' beach was closed. After talking to our sales rep in Plaza Caracol, we decided there was still plenty to see and do and took the trip. The day starts with coffee and cookies at dockside, then once aboard, we enjoyed a continental breakfast (juice, fruit, coffee). The boat stopped at marina... More

Went on cruise to the Marietas Islands. This outfit was very unorganized. We got on the boat and were told we had to pick up another 90 people so they waaaaay overbooked the trip. Took forever to load this group which were all Spanish speaking. I understand we are in Mexico but most of the other tour groups we went... More

First, let me say that we were to go to Animas beach on a catamaran, but when we arrive 20 minutes early, the boat had already departed with nine people on board. With that said, the people of Vallarta by Boat were kind enough to toss us on one of their boats for the day. It isn't that I'm not... More
