OMG a must see in Mazatlán, we were amazed at the beauty of the Cathedral. We got to see an actual Mexican wedding, how lucky were we. We must of sat for over an hour just taking in the beauty and workmanship of this amazing building. Will defiantly go back next year

This is a stunning cathedral. There is no charge to enter. The woodworking is very special. The restoration is excellent.

I love Mazatlan. The sea, the beaches and the city. Best place in Mexico! No sargassum like the Caribbean has on the beaches. For this reason the Pacific Ocean is superior. And the shrimp and the seafood are fresh if you know where to look.

A must see. One of the most beautiful churches I have been in. the Mexican people are very religious and this church is a tribute to that.

I had never been in a Cathedral before and was astounded by the beauty of it. The statues of the saints had such fine detail. I was disappointed that there wasn't some English signage. Photos were not allowed which I agree with but I was hoping that there might have been photos to buy.

We wandered in this cathedral while shopping in the old historic Mazatlan. My husband and I are both architects so were interested in seeing the place from inside and it was beautiful, easy to get in and out.

This is a lovely Cathedral in the heart of Historico. The architecture is amazing and the warmth of the building is encompassing.
Like other churches, they have gone to the ugly electronic 'rent-a-votive' format..too bad, less than endearing. Overall, a lovely experience.

Great architecture. Very quiet and peaceful. Take your time and have a nice rest. It is open in the morning and in the afternoon.

I have visited Mazatlan numerous times and always include a visit to this stunning building. The amazing architecture and details blow me away every time I visit. You step into an oasis of peace and calmness smack dab in the middle of a bustling downtown core. I was very fortunate to sit in on a service when I visited recently and even though I couldn’t understand the words, the singing and praying made me well up with emotion. It doesn’t matter what faith you belong to; this is a house of god and all are welcomed.

Downtown in Mexico is never teh same without a central church. This is a basilica because it has TWO steeples.
