Beautiful evening stroll

Have walked a few times. Great at sunset if walking west. Couples, families, joggers, walkers, skateboarders, roller bladers, cyclists. Room for everyone.

It's a 6-mile long promenade along the waterfront in Mazatlan, with monuments and beach areas, It's worth a wlak for photo opportunities,

If you go to Mazatlan you really should take a stroll on the Malecon or at least take a ride down the length of it for all the different views!

Great beach and walk way. Safe, clean! Really enjoyed the area. But always be aware of your surroundings.

We walked a lot of the Malecon, sometimes its easier to take a pulmonia. We were there during Carnival, and the crowds were huge, its a sight to be seen. You can grab a bite to eat from hundreds of options, and shop like crazy. In the am, you can see the fishermen bring in the catch of the day,... More

This five mile stretch of beach is as good as any, maybe the best of any of the strands I've walked from the beaches of Southern California to the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, to Nice, France. You can walk along the paved sidewalk or stroll on the beach. Plenty of places to rest if you'd like, or go into one... More

The Malecon has been dramatically upgraded, especially the the tree and lamp post lighting along its entire length. It is a well used wide sidewalk along the the beach. It remains predominantly a place for locals to gather. A younger crowd at night, multi-generational families all day Sunday. Great place to just sit and observe.
