Kind of nice as found just by chance. Some nice acts and good people watching. Not all that close to some of the resorts and would not make a special trip to see. Just nice to be on a beach/ocean. Had a fish/not nice spell at times.

Just average, nice drive, beautiful view. Lots of bars and restaurants, but would rather be on Pacific Coast Highway.

The malecon is a great safe place for a walk day or evening. We have taken a taxi to the Shrimp bucket and walked back to El Cid. It is several miles, we have watched the divers and much more along our walk. The weekends are busiest and there are plenty of places to get a drink, food or just... More

Worth the walk! We walked almost the entire thing from our Marina resort to the cliff divers. Very pretty view on the bay area and all the hotels. It a frequently used path through town. Pretty well maintained along it. Not many street vendors that we experienced.

Mazatlans malecon - or sea walk - is the perfect place for a long walk, affording endless views of the Pacific, lots of opportunity for views of local life, and many restaurants along the way. Most of the businesses and restaurants are across the street from the malecon, and the others are down on the sand, making for uncongested walking... More

The malecan is the largest sea front construction in South America, it comprises a sea wall and boardwalk travelling some 15 miles between Valentinos in the Golden Zone to Olas Altas in the Centro historico. It enables tourists to go to the beaches and do their favourite sports and visit the numerous restaurants, spend lunch or dinner and listen to... More

Wonderful walk along the ocean. My favorite moments to go there are in the early morning or at sunset time, walking on the beach. But if you prefer there is also the sidewalk. You can't miss this walk!

This malecon is reported to be the 2nd longest in the Americas. Old hotels on one side, the beach on the other. Palapas on the beach for seafood, tacos and beer. Don't miss El Corrente across from the De Cima Hotel!

The Malecon is a family oriented walkway along the Sea of Cortez in Mazatlan. This is the place to walk, bike or roller blade for exercise, an evening stroll, a morning jog. . . this is the place. Walking along the Sea is so peaceful. The Olas Altas area is a nice starting point. There are cafe's serving food and... More
