The malecon has been improved this year, with a new bike lane, tiled walkway and new palm trees. It's the most beautiful place to walk that I have seen anywhere that I have travelled. Morning or evenings, families, couples, walkers, runners....it's so energizing.

We have been enduring the months of construction but the end product is excellent. The Carnival parade is using the Malecon for it's route on Sunday and again in reverse on Tuesday.

Just finishing up a rehab of the walkway. Great way to enjoy the ocean air. (Plus, outstanding views of the Malecon from the historic B.W. Posada Freeman skybar)
