But it is nice to fantasize. A lovely lass in a stunning location caps a long walk on the Malecon. This honey captures the exuberance of this beautiful city, truly the Pearl of the Pacific. Just don't forget that it is all a dream.

Beautiful statue - La Mujer Mazalteca- along the malecon. According to what I read, its in honor of the beautiful women of Mazatlan.

Statues and Monuments on the Malecon were good. Made te area look way more interesting. I especially like the one of the dolphins in front of the man and also the Mermaid one. The cross one was good as well!

Many locals were meditating, practicing yoga. Peaceful area and a very nice walk alone the boardwalk where all the sculptures are located.

We hired a driver to take us around town. We saw all of the statues. All of them interesting. The coast is beautiful. We were here during Man of War jellyfish season so we didn't see anyone in the water. We saw Stone Island, the light house, all of the statues that line the coast. We didn't have a long... More

La Mujer Mazalteca is a lovely bronze statue/sculpture one arrives along the rocky shores north of Olas Altas beach. She is the monument to the women of Mazatlan. She has arms raised and appears very animated, certainly larger than life. Along this segment of the Mazatlan shore one will also find the mermaid statue and the Continuity of Life statue... More

One of many lovely bronze statues right on the malacon. Weather worn, but still very beautiful. A good place to people watch.
