We went to this museum as one of the first stops in Mazatlán. After a little bit of problem finding the attraction, we spent a good 2 hours looking at the exhibits and displays. The cost of admission was great, 40 pesos per person. At the current exchange rate this was about 50 cents (USD). The narrative is bilingual (Spanish... More

For such a small museum it had a wonderful collection. There were human remains, pottery and hand hewn tools on display. The information is displayed in both Spanish and English. I really enjoyed it for the price - approximately $4 CAD.

Dropped in while strolling old town. There are maybe twenty exhibits. English translations on all of them. The museum is located off a delightful little plaza. Ha a a drink at macaws across the way. Worth a half hour of your time and supports the local arts dos why not?

Open Sunday! Close to Playa Olas Altas, Plaza Machado. Very small, well organized museum. Could use more articulation of detail. Features both the archeology and local art.

Three small rooms displaying artifacts from Sinaloa. The display descriptions are in English and Spanish. It's small but professionally done and very interesting. 35 pesos per adult and kids get in free.
