This is our second time in Mayan Palace. I love the staff and the beautiful surroundings. The place has everything that you can ask for, and the staff is very helpful and attentive. Hope to come back soon!!

Loads of eateries and places that will be happy to sell you just a drink. The music, the lights and the crowds make this place special as you check out the venders in the park that is central to this plaza.

It is the centre of the old yown, and the best place to be therein after dark. During the daytime also, it is a centre for many restaurants, access to shopping, and near the cathedral.

The Plaza Machado is always a pleasant, park-like setting for a walk. Calmer in the mornings and afternoons, and lively in the evenings with the restaurants and live music.

Good place to eat with free wifi. Shady and peaceful not too touristy. Short walk from anywhere on the "Blue Line" thru town.

Saw some Aztec dancers and enjoyed some good, reasonably priced food & mojitos. Nice walk to Olas Altas.

The Plaza Machado is in Centro Historico and is about a 30 minutes north along the coastal road, the Malecon. A nice taxi or pulmonea ride - but to far to walk.
