Loved exploring this old part of Mazatlan which is undergoing rebirth. Some very good restaurants, Opera house recently redone and is beautiful.

This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Everything has been redone/renovated to bring back its original charm and architecture. It was like stepping into Spain with Mexican cuisine and hospitality. Very nicely done!

Today I visited that nice plaza which was quiet during the day. I was told it is very lively in the evenings/nights.

The Plaza Machado is in Centro Historico and is about a 30 minutes north along the coastal road, the Malecon. A nice taxi or pulmonea ride - but to far to walk.
