Overview
More
18-hole championship golf course built in 1996, and designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course layout is adjacent to the ocean where six of the holes and fairways are situated right off the beach. Tropical landscaping, clusters of palm trees lining the fairways, strategically placed bunkers, impeccably manicured greens and spectacular views. Estrella Del Mar hosted the 2011 Mexican PGA Championship for the first time May 5-8, just one of only two events held in Mexico on the Canadian Tour's 2011 schedule.

The course is actually situated outside of town near the airport. If you're a golfer it is the best place in my opinion. The fairways are always in good shape as are the greens. They will likely be slower than most greens you come across...More

This Robert Trent Jones course is way out of town but right near the airport. It was empty when we played on a Monday. It is a great layout and quite tough, especially the last four holes along the ocean.

the view of the ocean is fantastic, food is good. Tried the tuna, was good, and the clubhouse sandwich was fine. best of all was the view of the ocean. A small 10 km drive from the airport.

Beautiful course on the ocean but very expensive. Not many people on the course (about 7 cars all day). Food at the club was average. Of course the credit card machine broke down just as we finished lunch and we had to pay cash. Just...More

Beachfront is a large part for the appeal of this first class track. Great greens and gorgeous vistas dominate this one of a kind experience. Reasonable rates will appeal to the novice and experienced golfer alike. Try to break 80 if you can. Good luck.

Love playing this every time I go to Mazatlan. The only time I've had any issue with it is when they are aerating the greens. The service is good and the pricing is reasonable.

The course layout is world class. Each hole is beautiful and has individual charm with some very real golf challenges. Excellent staff and getting better, should be a tour stop for the best players. The ocean views are breathtaking, do not miss this experience.
