Lots of different stores to go shopping, everything from Mexican nic naks to high end jewelry shops. The cruise ships all come here for shopping. Really cool little pub called Lucky B. Excellent food and great prices.

Busy part of town, lots of traffic. It's better to walk or take taxis, avoid driving if you can. Lots of shops (some of them quite repetitive). Good place to people watch, has a relaxed vibe.

Dirty beaches, dead resturants , poor service almost everywhere. This was my 5th trip to the Golden zone and has become worse each time but I continued to go back with hopes that it was just a fluke. No such luck. A terrible waste of money but have finally learned my lesson. They have lost yet another tourist.

We walked the Golden Zone, had a feel of old Mexico, we felt safe and enjoyed all the little shops there.

We stopped for an hour in the Golden Zone, just long enough to see all the tourists and to get some cool refreshment. The streets are safe and it makes for a fun bit of strolling.

Great shops and good variety. Hotels and things to eat at small places as well as larger restaurants. I got some excellent sterling silver rings, some pens, magnets, other smaller items here and enjoyed shopping .

Lots of shops and souvenirs. Shop keepers can be pushy but it's how they make their living and understandable. Great place to kill some time and find some bargains if you're willing to negotiate.

Lots of great shopping, good food and bars. Beach is plentiful. Its a great area for families? Couples, singles young or old. Easy access to pulmonias or taxis. Or walk to Avenida Camarón Sabalo and take the bus south along the Malecón or all the way to the Mercado. Its only 10 pesos, fast and airconditioned.
