My friend and I attended the Symphony on April the 7th and it was truly enthralling. The local Symphony performed Ole`torero and it was more than fabulous. The Musicians are world class and perform with such passion that it leaves you breathless at times. Kudos to second chair violin. This is such a beautiful theatre, the acoustics are amazing and... The stars finally aligned, and on our visit ending this past weekend, we went to the Perlta Theater for the first time and were duly impressed, both with the venue and the performance. First the venue is amazing. Not just box seats surrounding the main floor, but 3 tiers of seats all around the sides and in back, give a... More

The theater is one of the best parts of living in Mazatlan. It is also open for tours most days. Restored to it's original grandeur of the mid 1800's they have several shows a week, year round, featuring an incredible variety of world class entertainment. For example, I have seen, 'The Nut Cracker' by the Moscow City Ballet, Chamber music... More

Beautiful old theater in Plaza Marcado. On a tour we heard the history. They have regular concerts & plays, see what is playing while you are there.

We stopped here on our walking tour of the old town. the architecture is beautiful and the theater has been restored to its former glory after so many years of restoration. We did not see any show but would love to take in one as the theater acoustics and seating throughout are apparently very good. The history of the theater... More

A history of its own the Angela Peralta Theatre presents a magnificent concert experience. European style theatre experience. Be sure to check out the Theatres schedule of performances. Prior to Carnival performances are minimal.

This a good stop on a walk through the historic center of Mazatlan. There is a small charge. Check out the story on Angela Peralta before you go.

A gem of a theatre with a wide variety of cultural venues. In the center of Old Town; nice to go to one of the many restaurants there before attending a performance.

I was truly amazed by the professionalism of this orchestra, what a treat to hear Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and then Eugene Onegin and the 1812 overture with a full 40 man choir. My expectations were pretty low and I was more than pleasantly surprised to hear a 70 piece orchestra with a full on choir. Besides the wonderful concert,... More

This beautiful renovated theater is at the heart of Mazatlan's entertainment. The inside is breath taking and the atmosphere sets you back in time. There is not a bad seat in the house. The acoustic is very good. An experience that is equal to none.
