Stone Island was a lot of fun. Really good value. Loved the horses and banana boat rides. Food was good, too.

Nice beach area with beautiful view of the cove. We had drinks at Carmelita's and used their pool chairs. A lot of things to do on this beach (ATV's, banana boats, horseback riding eat/drink, etc) and a lot of locals selling their goods. Tip- when...More

10 of us went on the tour. It really wasn't much of a river tour but more of a bird information tour. We were on the boat for about 45 minutes and then landed and took a ride pulled by a tractor for about 20...More

Went to Stone Island while on a cruise to Mazatlan. Very few tourists on the beach but lots of local families enjoying the clean, coarse sandy beaches and the varieties of authentic Mexican food available. The food vendors along the entire beach provided local food...More

I do enjoy Stone Island (although most of my friends love it here) but there are things that really bother me, i.e. the trash, the cleanliness of some of the restaurants. Stone Island is a primitive part of the city and is wonderful for searching...More
