Beautiful long sand beach

We were talked into taking a tour here by one of our waiters. Although we liked the beach, the tour was not worth the money. We were told we could go snorkeling and horse back riding, but then when we got there were told that they snorkeling was no good, there was a wait for the horses, and we could... More

It is cheap so you can afford all entertainments available, however there has no much to offer. Alcohol is not the best options is super cheap and you dont know what you are getting, but more likely 90% watered

In Mazatlan for five weeks. Ferry to Stone Island 50 pesos. Not really an "island"...it is a peninsula but long way to get there by road. Ferry is safe (small) and fun. Insistent on wearing life jackets which is smart and safe. Great length of beach to walk on with many restaurants. You can use the beach loungers and umbrellas... More

We took a tour (Pronatours) from El Cid Marina Beach Resort and had a nice 1.5 hour sail on a catemaran providing a nice coastal view of Mazatlán and as we past the three islands of its coast, we round the peninsula with a view of the Lighthouse before docking across from the cruise port. Our tour included a round... More

Always fun to go to Stone Island. We took one of the tours which consists of a boat ride around the smaller islands prior to going to Stone Island. The tour guide gives fun facts along the way and you also get to see the otters which are always entertaining. Once at the island you have options of things to... More

The stone island isn't really an Island. IT's just that it's a long way around to drive so a lot of people take the boat across. The tour itself seemed OK the food was OK and it was an open bar. The beach was very nice.

The yacht ride to Stone Island was wonderful. The Captain and his right hand were just wonderful and helpful. But the area itself was just average. I think a little more planning with the different activities might be helpful. We were hoping the horse ridding would be on the sand itself. That would be a hit, I believe. Maybe some... More

The stone island tour was fun. We did the banana boat ride and horseback riding on the beach. Both were very short but fun. The food at the restaurant was not very good. Very plain and basic. Everyone was nice and we are glad we did it but probably won't return. Nothing special!
