El Monumento a Pedro Enfante is my favorite fitness destination. Whether I am biking, walking, or skating, I stop here for a water break, a photo of the beach, or a snack, and take in the salty air and people watching. Many people come to the area for recreational activities.

Two years ago the Malecon was completely reconstructed. If you have the opportunity, its well worth your time to visit the approximately 7 mile stretch. There are many art figures along the way that serve to tell a historical story of many milestone events about this wonderful city

Walked here on Constitution right after I went to see the museum..Did not even know he was from This area!..One of many statues on the malecon that tell a history of the famous people that once called this area home..After walking so much,,I was hesitant to take the short climb..! But I told myself the view from the top would be worth it,,His statue reminded me of Marlon Brando on a motorcyle..probably around the same era..too bad I missed him..passed away before i was born., but I do remember some of his movies!

This statue is visited by many who sit on it to have their pictures taken and give it a rub so that it has a good shine where rubbed. It is very popular during Bike Week

It is a great idea to have all the artwork along the promenade telling the past and remembering the individuals or tribute to
live. Very artistic the city where ever you look. Love it.

We hired a taxi drive to drive us around for and an hour or two and told him we liked to see. Juan drove us all around the city with many stops along the way. This was one of them. It was great place to snap a pic along the coast. It was one of many statues along the ocean side road.

Saw many of his movies when I lived in Mexico some 30 years ago. Nice way to commemorate one of the country's top actors and singers. Great detail on the statute and it is life sized.
