Take a city tour and they'll take you to get a bird's eye view of both Manzanillo Bay as well as Santiago Bay. Simply beautiful. Manzanillo Bay has some rocky sections between Las Hadas resort and Barcelo Resort. and some spots after Barcelo resort towards Manzanillo town. Las Hadas has the privilege of enjoying a little cove-like area where the... More

Our hotel was on the beach. We saw the ocean each morning we opened our door and could hear the waves during the quiet times.

Strong surf. Limited beach access unless you have a hotel on the beach, but we experienced locals living in shelters on the beach. Strong current or rip tides. Not safe for children or adults beyond the shallows. Red tide or algae bloom was in full display. Red waters and then green algae in the surf.

Small snorkeling area not worth it, water not clear Try to negotiate with vendor next door to visitors center on pier. Unbelievable prices, 12.50/person private boat, bring own drinks they provide cooler & ice. You can also rent snorkeling gear from them. Other companies charge $73.00

Rented a condo on the beach in Las Brisas. Wonderful sunsets, non- stop action from the port, ocean breezes and whales. What more does one want from a tropical vacation?

Manzanillo is very much a working port and we enjoyed watching as tugs guided massive container ships into the harbor.

Loved this place, water isn't as nice but the resorts and people are very nice. It is much quieter then most Mexican hotspots.
