Lovely sandy beach that you can walk for miles. Dangerous rip tides when tide is changing. Watch out for stingrays and jelly fish. Usually not a bother, but I stepped on a stingray and was in agony for hours.

This is our go-to beach for a nice long walk in the evening just before sunset. We came here 4-5 days to do that. A very long beach. Beautiful setting. Places to swim, sit, eat and more.

We've been several times to this beach, and had never been charged to use the table and umbrella as we were eating and drinking from the restaurant where we used their table. However, during the Christmas season, perhaps they try to take advantage of tourists,...More

A stunning long beach with plenty of opportunity for swimming and shopping the nearby markets. I specifically encourage people to spend some time at the Emiliano Zapata Craft Market while here.

Nice long beach to walk on hard sand so good with runners on. Took the bus from the Barcelo to the end of the beach and walked back to the hotel maybe 5km.

This is a lovely beach with a lot of spirit. I really enjoyed our time here. We went ona Sunday and the beach was filled with local families just enjoying the sun and surf!

Great place to relax, grab a pina colada, sit under a beach umbrella. The sand is great for walking. Variety of beach activities available, none of which I did. EG: horseback riding, banana boat fun, checking out the many vendors.

Yes there is a local bus that goes to Miramar, can’t remener the price but was likely 8 pesos, not sure if they take US money, but if they did you’d be paying more, so it’s best to get some pesos. Water was swimmsble the... More

I have never seen anyone here with scuba gear. There is a place in town that rents equipment - like snorkeling gear and likely scuba too but I have seen no evidence at Playa Miramar.
