Almost 2 hours each way but the falls are beautiful. Hire a cab and driver and go in the morning to avoid the crowds. This is not for anyone with mobility issues.

Hi Karen, I am not familiar with Puerto Angel, but if you read the comments on the website, others have rented a cab to get them various places. There's got to be local people that can arrange tours for you as well.

I think it's best to hire a company with guide. Not sure if you can take your rental on those roads, with GPS they could try to charge you for going off road, pretty rough in some spots and unless you had great directions... More

It's roughly 90 mins up the mountain and depends on the road. I say roughly because it is a very bumpy curvy road but the sights are incredible and worth the drive. If you get motion sickness I'd pack gravel we had one... More
