This beach is isolated and can be reached via 45-minute hike (assuming you don't get lost) or by boat. There is nothing on the beach other than sand. I don't want to say too much as I want to keep it hidden for myself to...More

But I dont recommend trying to hike throughout jungle to get there without someone who knows the path well. Way too easy to get lost ! If you do get there, this beach is secluded, clear , clean, no undertow...feels safe. No facilities.

We hiked to this beach which was not fun! It was very humid, sticky and a bit muddy and the path initially was quite confusing. It took about 30 mins but it was so worth it! This beach is basically untouched and beautiful...lots of sand,...More

Accessible by boat and we found it gorgeous, almost empty and unfortunately water a bit murky for snorkelling. Worth a trip though. What a gorgeous Mexican paradise Huatulco is.

We asked around and were told that a boat was the only safe way to get to Cacaluta however, Google Maps, suggested otherwise. There is a signed foot path access down the road from the turn off to Maguey Beach. The trail is 1.5km to...More

Good place to go to eat and party. Lots of choices for reasonably priced restaurants - mostly gringos, without the gringo prices :-)
