Tomas designed for us an amazing week of hiking and birding in the areas of Sierra Norte and Teotitlan del Valle. We had visited previously and wanted to go deeper into Oaxaca's natural environment as well as into village culture. He coordinated with other expert guides to ensure an unforgettable, personal experience. Tomas took great care of us. We will return for more, and soon.

Used Tomas for a day trip to the mountains. Proved to be an unforgetable and amazing day. Exceeded expectations in every way. Got to spend some time in Santa Maria de Huatulco, where no one bothers you. Just a terrific old town, which is over 400 years old. Then to a family run coffee plantation for a tour, tasting and an excellent authentic lunch. Then to the mountaintop town of Pluma Hidalgo, which looks like something out of a movie. Visited "the orchid lady", who has an amazing amount of flowers and plants growing there. Mezcal tasting stop on the way back. The trip up and back from the 4000 foot plus change in elevation, is something we will remember for many years. The natural beauty takes your breath away. Had a like new, comfortable van with great A/C and clean windows for pics. Couldn't ask for a nicer or more passionate and knowledgeable guide. A big plus with Tomas is his flexibility in tailoring the day to individual interests. We liked him so much, we are booking two more days with him.

We did the Hierve el Agua day with Tomas in Oaxaca and it was amazing! Super highly recommend Tomas and the day. It was a total pleasure to hang out with him and he accommodated our toddler super well. Hierve el Agua is also gorgeous and he helped us to take terrific pictures of the day, plus he picked a great lunch spot in Mitla, visited a really well-done Teotitlan textile producer, and toured and tried some excellent mezcal at a woman-owned distillery. If you're thinking of booking this day, do it!! It was a total pleasure.

We have had Tomas as a guide for the last two times we visited Huatulco. He took us on a city tour 2 years ago, and in January he took us to the sea turtle release and the 3 levels coffee tour. His English is very good and he is a very safe driver. He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He has become our friend and we can't wait to return to beautiful Huatulco and our friend Tomas!!!!!!
Wisconsin Cheeseheads love Tomas!!!

We went to the Copalita Eco-Archaelogical Park as part of a cruise excursion. Tomas was excellent in the sense that he is very knowledgeable in the aspects of the ancient culture. He said a prayer in Zapotec before we entered the park. This demonstrated to me that Tomas was no ordinary guide he is actually Zapotec! Touring the park was over at noon and we asked him if he would join us for lunch. He accepted and thought to show us some of Huatulco before we ate. We visited some wonderful shops and purchased some things. We ate lunch in a restaurant on the town square that had a great 2nd story view. We got to know Tomas and hope to keep in touch. We will look for him again when we return to Huatulco.

Thank you for this beautiful review. Oaxaca is the land I love, it is my pleasure to show you the history, the architecture, and share with you my heritage. I take great pleasure in showing the visitors that arrive here just a piece of this beautiful area. There is so much to see, and so little time! Therefore, next time you visit, let me know and I will try to arrange a tour equally as nice. Hurry back! Sincerely, Tomas Vicente From Amazing Huatulco

I returned to Huatulco this year to relax and to see a few sights. Tomas was there to schedule 3 private tours for me within the time I had available. He is a perfect guide for this beautiful area!!! He speaks perfect English and knows all the "amazing destinations" to visit. I saw the Turtle release, Iguana sanctuary, coffee and cocoa plantation and the Zapotec ruins. I am returning next year to Secrets and I WILL be calling on Tomas to tour me through more of this beautiful state!

After crowded and tedious Cruise ship tours this privately prearranged tour checked all the right boxes for us. Comfortable bus with air con, choice of water, pop or beer and a Tourism Mexico licensed guide with impeccable English. It is a one man company and Thomas the owner was very knowledgeable not only about the surrounds but also the archaeological history of the area which was the “raison d’être” for the tour. To top it off the price was cheaper than the cruise ship tour.

Thank you for your kind review. It is my mission to share with you my knowledge of of this area, and the archaeological history which has always been a favorite of mine. There is so much history in our area, and I love sharing my culture with people like you. I hope that someday we can meet again and I can show you even more of the Mexico I love. Thank you again, Sincerely, Tomas

Tomas has went above and beyond our expectations as a tour guide.
For English speaking tourists, he speaks English very well.
He is very accommodating and goes out of his way to explain things along the way, sharing his wealth of knowledge on history and culture to anybody who would like to hear!
He is very reasonable, offers discounts for groups, and taylor’s your excursions to what you like to do.
Win, win situation for everybody!
