We went to Caleta one day and Caletilla the next day. We have several people in our group that are using walkers or wheel chairs. They picked this beach because it is fairly accessible. At Caleta the older people stayed in the restaurant while the younger ones played in the water. Lots of umbrellas and tables and chairs to rent.... More

This is pretty well where the famous Acapulco all began and it is still very popular today! The locals flock to this beach, especially on the weekends and with good reasons. The water is calm, shallow and no big waves so it is great for the kids to go swimming. There are plenty of restaurant and souvenier shops shops right... More

This beach is best early in the day, with calm waters and few people. As others have pointed out, during the busiest Mexican Holiday weeks, it, like all the other beaches in Acapulco become quite crowded. most other times of the year there are more than manageable. If you want quiet, go to pie de la cuesta or the beaches... More

It is a public beach and during vacations or holidays you can't even move around. The beach is dirty and there are too many street vendors all over the place. If you are looking for peace and quiet, avoid this beach.

Spent an afternoon at La Cabana on the beach side and was once again happy to go swimming in the little bay with so many people. The water was the wormest that I had seen in many years..

I very much enjoyed my afternoon at this lovely beach. The water is wonderful, so warm and calm. A few vendors came around and I purchased a very nice item for far less than I would have expected. It was not too busy the day I was there (a Tuesday), so lots of room to spread out a towel and... More

a beach catering to families, very good and affordable restaurants only 10 minutes from downtown, and you can go to the islan of la roqueta in a boat very cheap way to take a nice day relaxing in a island

This beach in Acapulco has lots of cheap, average restaurants along it & many little stalls selling sandals, swimwear & tourist things. Water warm & clear but beach crowded with local families. Nice atmosphere but just too busy to enjoy.
