A huge square where the palace is, with several tents selling local crafts, food and there is an amazing beer shop.

A nice museum to learn history of Monterrey with a few artifacts. It has 4 rooms starting with prehistory and colonial era.

I have lived in Mexico for 25 years. This was my first visit to this museum.
It is free on Tuesdays.
It was a nice place to walk around with my wife and see a few things we have not seen before. It is not a must see places. But if you’re close by it’s worth stopping in for a quick visit.

Interesting tour inside the museum with entertaining activities for little children; historic pieces to view and a video telling about the state history...Good for a family Sunday afternoon.

The Palace has been recycled, and now this very interesting building has a very nice exhibition of the local history. I strongly recommend it, you wont regret.

We did a quick walk through of the galleries and the museum. It is worth a quick look. I wouldn't need to spend more than 45 min here though.

I was there in 2013 and it is a beautiful building. There are a lot of museums surrounding this area. You can certainly see a lot of police movement and families come by in the weekends. You can check the little shopping stands outside as well.
