I really loved this place. It has a very wide variety of vegetation from dessert to tropical species. The garden is also filled with installations from different artists all across the place. I would recommend buying insect repellent at the gift shop from the beginning. Also visit early morning before it gets to hot.

The Botanical Garden is an amazing place, natural, beautiful and cultural for Sinaloa. The last time I went was for an English project within I learned history of it and a lot of things I did not knew before. Did anyone knew it is one of the most important botanical gardens in Mexico? It is one, because it´s a public space where different activities to promote a culture of respect and rational use of our natural resources. Also, there once was a man, who had an incredible collection of plants and were the engineer of the construction of the botanical garden, his name was Carlos Murrillo Depraect. He made the creation of the garden, a reality.
In addition, another amazing fact about this place it is the big collection of art it has. Art pieces from more than 10 different artists, such as Gabriel Orozco, Richard Long, Francis Alÿs and more. Nevertheless, there are two things that personally I loved about this beautiful and magic garden. One, it is practically forced to visit all of it, because if not, people can get lost, well the garden looks like a labyrinth. Two, whenever people are walking around the place, they can feel so pure and loose, because a lot of nature make feel more clean air. All my life I have live in Culiacan and there is no nature place I love more that the botanical garden, as so I said before for me it is so relaxing, pure, magic and beautiful. If you ever come to Culiacan, you definitely have to visit the Botanical Garden.

If you go to Culiacan, please make sure you visit this botanic park. It is wide, big, artistically arranged and has several interesting species with their description. Interesting and peaceful atmosphere when you are there. It is unique in its structure, it's difficult to find parks like these in the other States of México.

It is peaceful and a very pleasant walk. You can stroll and see artwork and plants.
It is not far from downtown, so you take advantage of it. Plan on spending a half day.

Well I think the botanical garden is a great place to go walk, with family, alone, its just amazing. It is not just a garden where you go see plants and thats it, you can actually interact with different activities or services that this garden provides you. You can take pictures and learn about the different plants that you can find there. This garden also provides a lot of different cultural activities such as concerts along the year, movie nights and other different events.
Recently this place has been remodelated for a better experience for the people go. Schools also can have access to this center by going on a learning trip, this includes a person wich gives you the tour of all the center it very cool.
In this garden you can also do excercise by running around the garden and there are also groups of crossfit training, in wich you can sign up.

It's an extraordinary and ENORMOUS garden filled with all types of trees and plants. It has different sections and several monuments by local artists. It's also great for kids since there are a few small lakes and you can buy fish feed to give to the fish. There is also an exquisite cafe nearby that has the best coffee I've had in my entire life, called Cafe Miro. A delightful place to visit, I'd only recommend coming in the morning since it gets really hot during the day.

One of my favorite places in town, you can enjoy the beauty of the hundreds of trees and flowers inside and outside of the garden, very peaceful ideal for reading books or spend time with someone you love, there are many workshops for kids and adults too, there is a small cinema inside.
