Decent waves, endless blue sky and expansive vistas, shared with only a few surfers, fishers and pelicans

Punta Lobos is beautiful, I wouldn't suggest you take swim in this beach but it will work great if you're looking for a analyze-your-own-conscious-thoughts-and-feelings type of walk. You'll find inner peace just by watching the horizon in this beach.

Great place to catch some action when the fishermen and their boats come in with their catches for the day.

Down a long dusty road is a well known town beach , as this is where the Fishermen come into shore in their Pangas(boats) about one p.m. They sell fresh fish from their boats . It's also a lovely beach , with nice views all along the shoreline . A must see.

If you want a peaceful place to relax you can walk from the turtle release program down to Punta Lopos and maybe run into a handful of people it's quieter up on the north end but you'll miss the fisherman

So good to make the drive into Punta Lobos to watch the fishermen rev their boats to make a landing into the beach and get pulled up by the pickup trucks, onload their fish, cut it up into filets (red snapper, sea bass, etc), and sell it to you muy barrato. Love seeing old Mexico still alive. Besides the whales... More

This is a place you MUST go and watch the fishing boats launch through the surf in the early morning, and being retreived in the mid afternoon. Sometimes the fishing is good, I have seen rooster fish to 40 or so pounds caught within easy casting distance from shore. Unfortunately, I didn't catchit. You will need directions from locals. It... My boyfriend and I were happy to find this quiet beach and spend few ours just relaxing. It is fun to watch the fisherman driving their boats back to the sand, and you can buy the most fresh fish to take back home!

Fresh like they are just out of the water fresh. Pick what kind you want. Do you want a series of filets? Do you want a big piece of Dorado? How about a chunk of Tuna? The local Pangas (small boats) pull up to this little cove with their fresh catch of the day. You pick what you want and... More

Come see these longtime local fishermen and check out their altar on the rocks overlooking this pretty beach. You can also see the Tres Santos beach development in progress. At this time there are no real services except guys pushing a cart or two of drinks and popsicles, but, by fall or early 2017 there should be a boutique hotel,... More
