There is some good information about the church and how it was founded. Inside, it is quite pretty and spacious. Some interesting sculptures.

This is the focal point of the plaza in Todos Santos. It was repainted years ago from its original sepia color, which kind of white-washed the historic charm it had, but I'm used to it now. It's an awe inspiring space to be in...and at...More

Like every mission on the peninsula, it was founded by Jesuits, overthrown by the indigenous population, and rebuilt by Franciscans. It's an old story.

This was absolutely beautiful. We didn't have enough time for a tour and there were some people praying so I didn't want to interrupt. Will put this on my list for a more thorough investigation next time.

A nice stop just off the main square in Todos Santos. The Murals on the wall unique. Across the street is the marker for the tropic of cancer

Clean and orderly, a beautiful church. But no stations of the cross! First time in a Catholic church/mission where they weren't present. Well worth a visit which offered a quiet moment to pray for peace in this crazy world

You can't miss the misione. The town is small and this, I think, is the highest structure in town. It has an interesting history, and if you know anything about the mission system that was built to go up the Pacific Coast into the US...More

Located in Todos Santos, it was a stop on our visit. It is nice from the outside as well as the inside. It has a lot of history, part of the Missions in Mexico and California, that came to impose Catholicism on the local pagans.
