Me and my boyfriend thought it was pretty dirty and chaotic but if your a tourist, the border is a surreal sight to see.

Went down to visit a friend and had a wonderful stay. We walked the beach each morning and evening, ate delicious local food, and strolled the streets. There are so many health conscious choices for eating, it’s wonderful! My friend is receiving alternative cancer treatment...More

This is where the locals hang out. Lots of families. Beach is nice and long, and you can choose if you want to be in the middle of the action on the north end or a bit more quiet the more south you go. Lots...More

Thought-provoking to see the border fence extend into the ocean. There's a fun sign to take pictures by, and a wooden boardwalk to stroll down. Apparently the Amish have come down here because we saw many of them strolling along the beach in their traditional...More

For all intents and purposes, Playas is one single beach. Currents are treacherous so swimming is only for the experienced and strong. The water rarely gets warm enough to enjoy.
